Daniel Radcliffe

8/12/2013

I wrote to Daniel via venue at his play "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" and was sent back a 4x6 pre-signed (authentic) photo.

I feel like I have grown up right along with Daniel with his role as Harry Potter, the boy who lived, in the infamous film series. The movies mean more to me than I could ever even begin to describe, as they are truly magical in every way possible. I especially love Daniel's performance in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2". He IS Harry Potter to me, and I hope to one day be able to thank him for the magic he has brought to so many people's lives, including my  own!

Thank you so much, Daniel!

Xavier "X" Atencio

8/10/2013

On July 29, 2013 I sent a letter, two photos and a sase to Mr. Xavier "X" Atencio, and on August 9, 2013, I received both of my photos back signed. Very quick turnaround! So pleased!!

Mr. Atencio wrote the lyrics to the song "Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life For Me" that is heard as you're riding through the "Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction at the Disney theme parks. Also, if you've never been on the ride, young Elizabeth Swan sang part of the song at the beginning of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl", and at the end of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End", Jack, for the very last line of the film, says "drink up me hearties, yo ho!", which is also a lyric of the song.

He also wrote the lyrics to "Grim Grinning Ghosts", which can be heard in "The Haunted Mansion" attraction at the parks. It's the song that's playing in the background of the graveyard scene!

And, if you've ever been to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and ridden on the Disneyland Railroad, he was one of the Imagineers who worked on the "Primevil World" (the one with all the dinosaurs!) diorama that you pass through before reaching Main Street Station.

As a Disney fan since birth, I am insanely proud to add Mr. Atencio's autograph to my collection, especially as he's getting up there in age, and how he worked first-hand with Walt himself on so many projects that I always look forward to when I go to the Disney parks!

Andrew Scott

8/2/2013

On June 26th, 2013 I sent Andrew Scott a letter, two photos and a SASE, and on August 2nd, 2013, I received both of my photos back signed, dedicated and inscribed!

I am a big fan of Mr. Scott's as Jim Moriarty on BBC's "Sherlock"! I think he portrays the character extremely well, and so much different than I've seen any other actor play Moriarty before. I especially love the episode "The Reichenbach Fall" for the "Tower of London" scene especially (don't worry, I won't give anything away in case you haven't seen it! But if you have, you know what I'm talking about!)

Thank you so much, Mr. Scott!

Una Stubbs

7/31/2013

On July 13, 2013 I sent Ms. Stubbs a letter, SASE and photo, and on July 31st, 2013 I received two photos signed and one personalized!

Ms. Stubbs as Mrs. Hudson on BBC's "Sherlock" just simply makes me so incredibly happy. I love the way she looks after Sherlock, not just as a landlady, and definitely "not your housekeeper!", but as a mother or guardian figure. I can't wait to see her reprise her role as Mrs. Hudson in the upcoming season of Sherlock this fall!

Thank you so much, Ms. Stubbs!

7/23/2013

I sent Anna a letter, two photos and a sase on June 6th, 2013 and received both of my photos back signed and dedicated on July 23rd, 2013.

I am a big fan of Anna's in the "Chronicles of Narnia" films as Susan Pevensie. I always loved Susan in the films because she is extremely smart, brave and independent. I think Anna portrays her perfectly! Anna is such a beautiful and talented actress, and I can't wait to see what new films she stars in!

Thank you so much, Ms. Popplewell!

Carl Muscarello

7/23/2013

I wrote to Mr. Muscarello on August 2nd, 2012 and received a reply on August 9th, 2012. I sent him a photo, a letter and a sase. He sent me back a newspaper clipping, my photo signed and personalized and another larger photo signed and personalized to my family.

One of the most iconic photos to me is the photo of the "kissing sailor" taken in Times Square on VJ Day 1945. It has always stood out in my mind as a picture of extreme happiness, relief and rejoice, and I am so proud to have Mr. Muscarello's signature on the photo!

Gene Kranz

7/19/2013

I wrote to Mr. Kranz in 2011, but unfortunately did not record the sent and received dates.

Mr. Kranz is a retired NASA Flight Director and manager. He served as Flight Director for the Gemini and Apollo missions, and is probably most recognized for his role in directing the Mission Control team efforts to bring the crew of Apollo 13 home safely after their "successful failure" in space. His now iconic quote, "Failure is not an option!" is one that I like to live by, and I am so tremendously proud to have his autograph!

Thank you so much, Mr. Kranz!

On August 14, 2012 I wrote to Ms. Diane Disney Miller. I sent her a really long letter telling her how much her father's company means to me, and how much I thank her for preserving his memory and opening the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, California. On August 27, 2012 I received both of the photos I sent her signed, and each with a lovely inscription written on the back. She even shared a really lovely story with me about her father! Thank you so much, Ms. Disney Miller! I will cherish your reply forever!

I sent my letter to a private address, so please do not contact me asking for it. It's fairly easy to find if you look hard enough!

Adrienne Barbeau

7/14/2013

My wonderful friend, Danielle went to a convention in London and got Ms. Barbeau's autograph for me! Thank you so much, Danielle! I will cherish it always!!

I am a huge fan of Ms. Barbeau in the horror film "The Fog", the comedy "The Cannonball Run" and as the voice of many cartoon characters that I have grown up with! I am so excited to add such a talented actress and Hollywood legend to my collection!
