Everyone who knows me knows that I idolize Tom Hanks. In my opinion, he is the most amazing, diverse and just plain awesome actor that has ever stepped in front of a camera. His movies are fantastic! I've seen a whole bunch of them, but my favorites are Forrest Gump, Apollo 13 and (of course, because I love Disney!), the Toy Story films! I had a bit of a meltdown when I opened the envelope. Such a wonderful, unexpected surprise! Definitely made my day!
I sent him three photos (one for my dad, and two for me), a letter and a SASE. On September 4th 2012, I received all three photos signed, dedicated and inscribed. He even wrote me a little note at the bottom of my letter!
